Air Filter (MERV) For My Home?
What is the standard MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value for a home air filter? MERV 13 are in hospitals and 11's are typically found in corporate office buildings; so what level do you find in your home. I am trying to buy new air filters and don't want to overspend.
I would say a 5 through 8 would be decent.......... it blocks particles as small as 3 microns.
