I bought this before a long road trip through the mountains in NC. It lives up to all of the claims. We either mis calculated our milage by a lot or used a lot less gas. Unless I am completely off on milage estimates our GT stang used a full tank less than we expected. For the money even if we only saved a half tank it will pay for itself in one more road trip. FYI, the Blue Ridge Parkway in a Mustang with a bit of extra pickup in the low gears is freaking awesome. It was like I was sixteen again. I would tell anyone to put a high flow air filter on any car, they will be helping the environment and their inner child.
It fits, and it works

Seems to be doing a great job so far. After 10,000 miles, it barely looks dirty at all. The whole reason I bought this was to improve fuel economy on my ’09 Mustang V6. However, the before and after MPG has remained constant at about 22-23mpg. It did seem to improve throttle response, but that may just be a perceived effect, and not actual. Either way, it should pay for itself over the life of the vehicle.

This K&N filter lives up to all its hype. I installed the K&N into my 2006 Mustang GT and immediately noticed the increase in power, mostly at 3000 rpm’s or higher. I haven’t noticed much, if any, increase in mileage, but I’ve only put 500 miles on the car since I bought it.
