Purolator PL14612 PureONE Oil Filter Pack of 2

PureONE is the cheapest insurance available for your car today. Does it make sense to spend hundreds, or thousands, of dollars on automobile insurance each year, and then turn around and save a buck or two by purchasing an oil filter with less quality? PureONE features exclusive Micronic Filtration media that traps even the smallest particles of dirt and grime before they get to your engine - particles too small for conventional filters to catch. Which is why PureONE is the top ranked filter in SAE tests at keeping your oil pure - and why no other filter provides better protection for your engine. more info

The only one I trust for my car
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought a 12 unit box to have for the remaining life of my car as I change the oil myself. Rated high by every expert, these are the only ones I trust for my car.

Shipping not free; costs as much or more than order
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Tried to order via stated free shipping for orders over $25. I tried to order 3 for $28.44 and shipping charges ranged from $23.38 to $37.80 – with no free shipping option. Amazon’s customer service (in India) states that Alaska and Hawaii are excluded for all automotive and outdoor products. In contrast Amazon’s fine print on their web site says Alaska and Hawaii are included for all products listed as free shipping except for certain ‘unnamed items’ that presumably are too heavy or bulky or hazardous to ship for free). Oil filters are not heavy, bulky or harardous. I’m extremely disappointed with Amazon. Shipping via US mail would only be about $5. This is a rip off. Amazon is not what it used to be.

    Will fit several motorcycle types
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Bought these filters after reading online that they will fit my motorcycle (These will fit any 97- 2007 yzf600r). They are much cheaper and alot better quality (purolator are arguably one of the best brands out there) that OEM.

    PureONE fits Honda Goldwing (GL1800)
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Filter is well made and with the textured surface gives a good grip to my filter wrench. I recently drove approximately 1500 miles this past week after replacing my Honda filter with this one. No leaks. Tests of this filter indicate it has superior filter media which removes smaller particles and also a better anti-drainback valve. A look at the oil at first oil change with this filter will tell a lot.

BE CAREFUL IF YOU ORDER THESE NOW…
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Because they are now a mustardy GOLD color, instead of being metallic blue like the picture shows right now. I have a blue motorcycle, and the filter is very visible, so I’m sending the gold ones I just received back.

They’re great filters though; it’s too bad I won’t be able to buy this brand anymore.

Great price for a great filter
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The Purolator PureONE is a very well regarded filter on car nut forums like Bob Is the Oil Guy. In a retail store, assuming you can find them at all, these usually run $6+ each so getting two for under $10 is a great deal. I use this filter in my 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero (aka the Saabaru).

    Fit my 1994 Mazda Miata.
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I use OEM oil filters for very long time. Give it a try with this oil filter. I can say that it is better than OEM. My OPG shows higher oil pressure than OEM. Also, this filter also cure HLA syndrome on NA Miata.

    Great deal for the best
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
According to the experts this is the best filter available including the OEM’s. My experience is that they appear to be superior to generics and the OEM for my Honda Goldwing. The red seal material is much superior to the black hard rubber one. The internal valve can be seen and seems to be of better quality than others including more expensive brands. Even Fred Meyer has these though a bit more expensive. Buy in paks of 2 and use the $[...] rebate!

    Good Filter

I cut open filters that fit the same car from Fram (Tough Guard)’ Mobil 1, and this Pure 1 filter. You cannot tell what size particles are captured by the media this way (Mobil 1 and Pure 1 claim synthetic media), but you can count pleets. The Pure 1 had nearly twice as many, and the bypass and general construction seems to be better also. And the Pure 1 costs about half of what the Mobil 1 filter costs.

    Great product
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Can’t beat the price for the quality. I had been using OEM until they changed suppliers and the quality went down. I switched to Purolator and I am very happy. The grip on the outside is brilliant. I’ll be using these for a while.

    Great for my 04′ RX8
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This oil filter is great for my RX8. If you have one you know how limited the access is to the oil filter and how much a PITA it is to spin it on and off. This filter is shorter than the OEM filter dimensionally yet flows as much or more oil. I know this because my oil pressure gauge, located at the filter outlet, saw an increase in pressure which tells me there is less flow restriction in this filter than OEM. The shorter height means more access and less interference with the firewall. Especially if you have the Racingbeat oil pressure gauge adapter. Also the top has a skidpad type of abrasive material on it that allows you to grip and tighten the filter on properly by hand without having your oily hands slip off in awkward places.

That and the 2 pack price from Amazon is great!

    Great Price

Got all my filters with no mistakes at a cheap price and free shipping. These filters would normally cost in stores ($6.00) for one filter.

    THE BEST
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I started using PureONE filters years ago (they were blue, not yellow-gold back then) after reading studies on oil filters. I put over 300,000 miles on that car, it still ran like a top when I sold it, it never needed any type of motor work. Team this filter up with Mobil 1 if you want you car to last!
