How to review a filter cartridge? Well, I can assure you that it’s the same kind that’s originally installed in the filter, and that it comes with new gaskets. Price is nice and low, no ripoff here. No idea how long a fuel filter typically lasts before it needs replacement, but it probably helps that the Spectre is clear glass, so you can see exactly how it’s doing.

I purchased and installed two of these types of filters on my 1970 Morris “Mini” Pickup and loved them. They work great and you can see exactly how clean the filters are. I just bought two more for my 1968 Austin Cooper S. On both cars, I installed one in between the gas tank and the fuel pump and another right before the carburetor. I purchased two sets of these replacement filters for later on; they are less expensive than even the cheapest of fuel filters found at my local auto part dealer and the quality is great.
